Laděna VÍZNEROVÁ
(*1943)

Laděna Víznerová is a Czech artist specializing in the design of pressed glass. She studied at the Glassmaking School in Kamenický Šenov from 1958 to 1961 under the guidance of director Dr. Špaček. Since 1961, she has been working as a designer at Sklo Union Teplice.
In her work, she focuses on pressed glass, experimenting with structures and surface treatments. Her designs are functional, simple, and technologically refined, allowing for efficient production. She utilizes techniques such as etching and sandblasting to transfer delicate patterns and textures inspired by nature into glass objects.
Although she later explored glass jewelry, pressed glass remains the key element of her work. With her sensitive approach to materials and attention to detail, she brings artistic value and originality to industrial glass design.
